The BESSEY TC7.016 is a heavy-duty steel bar clamp built for demanding fabrication, woodworking, and general trade assembly work. It delivers 1,200 pounds of clamping pressure across a 16-inch maximum capacity, making it suitable for securing large workpieces or laminated assemblies. The 7-inch throat depth allows the clamp to reach past edges and flanges where shallow-throat clamps fall short. At 20 inches overall length, it is sized for mid-range clamping tasks. The steel rail provides rigid, deflection-resistant performance under full load. Standard accessories include a plastic cap, standard pad, and wood handle.
The TC7.016 is suited for carpentry, millwork, metal fabrication, and general shop use where consistent, repeatable clamping force is required. The included standard pad protects finished surfaces from jaw marks during glue-ups or fixture work. The wood handle provides torque leverage for tightening to full rated pressure without additional tooling. This clamp fits into production shop environments as well as field assembly scenarios.
Designed as a standard replacement or addition to professional bar clamp sets used in woodworking, fabrication, and general assembly applications requiring mid-range jaw capacity.
No power tools or electrical shutoff is required for clamp deployment. Inspect the rail and jaw mechanism for burrs or damage before applying load. Use the included pad between the jaw face and finished surfaces to prevent marring. Do not exceed the rated 1,200-pound clamping pressure, as over-tightening can damage workpieces or deform the clamp mechanism.
