The BESSEY RSC-8 is a sliding arm bar clamp designed for bending applications that demand controlled, repeatable clamping force. It delivers 770 pounds of clamping pressure through a 5/8-inch high carbon steel spindle, making it well suited for metalworking, fabrication, and assembly operations. The T-handle provides direct torque input, and the electrogalvanized finish resists corrosion in shop environments. The rail measures 49/64 inch by 3/8 inch with an 8-inch rail length, keeping the clamp rigid under load. Fabricators, pipefitters, and industrial tradespeople are the primary users of this tool.
The RSC-8 fits into the RSC Series and is built for bend-type clamping tasks. With an 8-inch maximum capacity and a 4-inch throat depth, it handles moderate stock widths in both light fabrication shops and industrial settings. The steel pad and forged steel handle contribute to durability under repeated use. This clamp is appropriate for bench work, jig setups, and component assembly where consistent pressure and repeatable positioning are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct addition within the BESSEY RSC Series sliding arm bar clamp line, suited for bend-type clamping applications in fabrication and metalworking environments.
This clamp is a hand tool requiring no installation, but proper use demands that the workpiece be fully seated against the pad before tightening the spindle. Inspect the spindle threads and sliding arm for wear or debris before each use. Do not exceed the rated clamping pressure by using pipe extensions or cheater bars on the T-handle. Store in a dry environment to maintain the integrity of the electrogalvanized finish.
