The BESSEY 750l is an adjustable machine strap clamp designed to secure workpieces during machining, fixturing, and setup operations. Built from iron with a powder-coated finish, it accepts a 3/4-inch stud diameter and delivers a maximum clamping force of 19,000 lbf. A swivel point is integrated directly into the clamping mechanism, allowing the clamp to bridge two workpieces of unequal height without requiring step blocks or wedges. This makes it well suited for production machining environments where setup time and part variation are constant factors. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers.
This clamp is used in machine tool setups, milling fixtures, and general workholding applications where a reliable strap-style clamp is needed on a standard T-slot or stud mounting. The swivel-point design accommodates height differences between clamped surfaces, making it practical for irregular or stepped workpieces common in job-shop and production machining. It measures 9 inches in overall length, 2.125 inches in width, and 2.25 inches in height, fitting standard 3/4-inch threaded studs used throughout conventional fixture setups.
Designed as an OEM-style strap clamp for standard 3/4-inch stud fixturing systems used in milling and machining setups.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolmakers using standard fixturing hardware. Ensure the machine is fully powered down and the spindle is at rest before adjusting or repositioning clamps on the workpiece. Use a properly rated stud and nut torqued with a calibrated wrench to achieve consistent clamping force. Do not exceed the rated clamping force, and verify that clamp placement does not interfere with the tool path before beginning a machining operation.
