The BERKELEY S39540 is a three-phase AC straight centrifugal pump rated at 2-1/2 horsepower and designed for demanding commercial and industrial water transfer applications. It operates on 208 to 230/460 volts at 60 Hz and delivers up to 92 GPM at 20 feet of head, with a maximum head pressure of 142 psi. The cast iron housing provides durability in harsh environments, while the brass impeller resists corrosion in clean and mildly aggressive water service. A TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) motor protects internal windings from moisture and debris. This pump is installed by licensed plumbing and mechanical contractors in commercial, agricultural, and light industrial systems.
The S39540 is suited for high-volume water transfer, irrigation, pressure boosting, and circulating systems where three-phase power is available. The 2-inch FPT inlet and 1-1/2-inch FPT outlet allow direct threaded pipe connection in standard commercial piping configurations.
