The BERKELEY S39530 is a three-phase AC straight centrifugal pump rated at 1/2 horsepower and designed for demanding fluid-transfer applications in commercial and industrial systems. It operates on 208 to 230/460 volts at 60 Hz and delivers up to 37 GPM at 20 feet of head, with a maximum head pressure of 83 psi. The cast iron housing provides durability in tough service environments, while the brass impeller resists corrosion in water-handling applications. This pump is installed by licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors working on hydronic, water supply, or process-circulation systems.
The S39530 is suited for commercial building water circulation, light industrial fluid transfer, and hydronic heating or cooling applications where a three-phase power supply is available. The open drip-proof (ODP) motor handles continuous-duty operation. With a 1-1/4 inch FPT inlet and 1 inch FPT outlet, it connects directly to standard threaded pipe. It is rated for fluid temperatures up to 225 degrees F, making it appropriate for hot-water systems as well as cold-water service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install centrifugal pump for three-phase commercial water circulation and fluid-transfer systems requiring a 1/2 hp straight pump with FPT end connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable local codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and de-energize the three-phase power circuit at the disconnect before beginning any installation or service work. Verify that the available voltage matches the motor nameplate before wiring. Do not exceed the rated maximum fluid temperature of 225 degrees F.
