The BENJAMIN MOORE RP2710092-01 is a rubber base pool paint from the Insl-X RP Series, formulated for coating new or old concrete swimming pools. This satin-finish coating delivers durable protection in both residential and commercial pool environments. It resists fading, fungus, algae, abrasion, and alkalis, making it a practical choice for pools exposed to demanding water chemistry and UV conditions. Coverage runs approximately 450 square feet per gallon. The formula complies with Ozone Transport Commission volatile emission standards at less than 340 grams per liter, meeting regional air quality requirements where applicable.
This pool paint is designed for use on concrete, Gunnite, and Marcite pool surfaces where the substrate is sound and solid. It performs in both fresh water and salt water pools. The product is not suitable for metal, fiberglass, vinyl-lined pools, hot tubs, or spas. It is applied in residential and commercial settings by pool service professionals and painting contractors familiar with pool surface preparation and chemical cure requirements.
Suitable for use on concrete, Gunnite, and Marcite pool surfaces in residential and commercial pools. Do not apply to metal, fiberglass, vinyl-lined pools, hot tubs, or spas. Gunnite and Marcite surfaces must be structurally sound and solid prior to application.
Application should be performed by a qualified pool service professional or licensed painting contractor following all local codes and the Insl-X swimming pool paint application instructions. Power wash and prepare the pool surface thoroughly before applying; the substrate must be clean, dry, and free of loose material. Allow the coating to cure fully before filling: 7 days for outdoor pools and 14 days for indoor pools. When adding pool chemicals for the first treatment, dilute them before introducing to the pool to protect the fresh coating.
