This cable is suited for indoor riser installations in commercial office buildings, data centers, educational facilities, and healthcare campuses. The 48-fiber count supports high-density backbone runs connecting telecommunications rooms to equipment rooms. OM1 multimode fiber supports legacy and active equipment operating over 62.5/125 micron multimode fiber infrastructure. It is sold as a single unit (EA).

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or registered communications distribution designer familiar with NEC Article 770 requirements for optical fiber riser cables. Do not exceed the cable minimum bend radius during installation, and avoid over-tensioning during pulls. Terminate fiber ends using appropriate fusion splicing or mechanical connector methods per manufacturer guidelines.
