The BELDEN INC. CAD1105025 is a Cat6A patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. Built to 28 AWG, this cable carries the CMR (Communications Multipurpose Cable, Riser) rating, making it suitable for riser-rated pathways between floors. It ships in a green jacket, which aids in visual identification of network segments or cable runs at the patch panel or switch port. Licensed low-voltage technicians and network cabling installers are the primary end users for this product.
This cable is used in horizontal and vertical patch connections within data closets, server rooms, and structured cabling systems that require Cat6A performance. The 25-foot length suits mid-distance patch runs between network equipment, patch panels, and wall outlets. The riser-rated jacket meets requirements for installation in vertical cable runs and plenum-adjacent spaces where CMR-rated cable is specified by the design engineer or AHJ.
Designed as an OEM-style Cat6A patch cable compatible with standard RJ45 patch panels, keystone jacks, and network switches supporting Cat6A or backward-compatible Cat6 and Cat5e ports.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage or structured cabling technicians following TIA-568 and applicable NEC Articles 800 and 725 requirements. Verify that the installation environment is rated for CMR cable before routing through riser pathways. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius for 28 AWG cable, and avoid running alongside high-voltage conductors without proper separation. Power down or disconnect active switch ports before seating or removing patch cables in live environments where possible.
