The BAPI BA/D-CO-NO2-V-BB is a rough service carbon monoxide (CO) sensor designed for wall-mount installation in demanding commercial and industrial environments. It uses an electrochemical sensing element to detect CO concentrations across field-selectable ranges of 0 to 100, 0 to 200, 0 to 300, and 0 to 500 ppm. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 3% for readings below 200 ppm and plus or minus 5% for readings from 201 to 500 ppm. Output options include 4 to 20 mA, 0 or 1 to 5 VDC, and 0 or 2 to 10 VDC, with dual SPDT relay contacts and an onboard LCD display for local readings.
This sensor is suited for parking garages, mechanical rooms, loading docks, and other locations where CO monitoring is required by code or facility safety protocol. The IP66-rated enclosure makes it appropriate for areas exposed to dust, moisture, or washdown conditions. HVAC controls technicians and building automation specialists typically integrate this sensor into BAS or ventilation control systems where analog or relay outputs are needed to trigger fan operation or alarms based on CO thresholds.
Designed for integration with building automation systems and ventilation controllers that accept standard 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 VDC analog inputs, as well as SPDT dry-contact relay inputs, in commercial and industrial CO monitoring applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed controls technicians or building automation specialists. Power down the control panel or disconnect the low-voltage circuit before wiring. The sensor accepts 18 to 28 VAC or 18 to 40 VDC supply voltage — confirm the supply matches the unit label before energizing. Follow local codes and the manufacturer wiring diagram for relay and analog output terminations; do not exceed the relay contact ratings.
