The BAPI BA/10K-2-H210-O-BB2 is an outdoor air humidity transmitter designed for building automation and HVAC control applications. It outputs a 0 to 10 VDC signal proportional to relative humidity and integrates a 10K Type 2 thermistor for simultaneous temperature sensing. Accuracy is rated at 2 percent RH. The unit operates on 24 VAC or 24 VDC power and is housed in a polycarbonate BAPI Box 2 enclosure rated NEMA 4 and IP66 for outdoor and wash-down environments. Installation is performed by licensed HVAC controls technicians or building automation contractors.
This transmitter is suited for outdoor air sensing in economizer control sequences, psychrometric calculations, enthalpy-based economizer strategies, and dew point monitoring. The NEMA 4 and IP66-rated housing makes it appropriate for direct outdoor mounting where the sensor will be exposed to rain, humidity, and wash-down conditions. It is commonly mounted in outdoor air intake locations on rooftop units, air handling units, and makeup air systems where accurate ambient humidity data is required for energy-efficient control. The dual-output design delivers both RH and temperature signals from a single installation point.
Designed for outdoor air humidity sensing applications including economizer control, enthalpy-based free cooling, psychrometric calculations, and dew point monitoring in commercial HVAC systems. Compatible with any DDC or BAS controller accepting a 0 to 10 VDC analog input and 10K Type 2 thermistor input.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC controls technician or building automation specialist. De-energize the control panel and disconnect 24 VAC or 24 VDC power before wiring. Mount the enclosure in the outdoor air stream using the OSA mounting configuration, ensuring the sensor element is protected from direct solar radiation and standing water per the sensor manufacturer's guidelines. Follow NEC low-voltage wiring requirements for all field wiring connections.
