The BANDO BX108 is a classic cogged V-belt engineered for demanding power transmission applications in HVAC, industrial, and agricultural equipment. Built from heat-resistant and oil-resistant rubber, this BX-section belt delivers reliable torque transfer across drive systems that require a flexible, notched construction. The cogged profile reduces bending resistance, allowing the belt to run cooler and more efficiently on smaller-diameter sheaves. At 111 inches outside length and 21/32 inch width, the BX108 fits a wide range of blower, fan, and compressor drives found in commercial and residential HVAC systems as well as light industrial machinery.
This belt is suited for installation on standard BX-section sheave drives in HVAC air handlers, rooftop units, belt-driven fans, and similar rotating equipment. The cogged design is preferred in applications where reduced slippage, lower operating temperatures, and improved flexibility are priorities. HVAC technicians and industrial maintenance professionals install this belt during routine preventive maintenance or as a direct replacement for worn or failed drive belts in single or multiple-belt drive configurations.
Designed as a direct OEM-style replacement for BX-section cogged V-belt drives requiring a 111-inch outside length belt. Fits standard BX-section sheaves and grooved pulleys per ARPM dimensional specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or maintenance professional. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the drive unit before removing the belt guard or existing belt. Adjust sheave center distance to allow belt installation without prying or forcing the belt over the pulley flanges, then re-tension according to the equipment manufacturer's deflection specifications. Inspect sheave grooves for wear or misalignment before installing the replacement belt.
