The BANDO 3VX1120 is a narrow cogged V-belt designed for demanding power transmission applications in HVAC, industrial, and mechanical drive systems. Built from rubber with a cogged profile, it flexes over smaller sheaves with reduced heat buildup and improved efficiency compared to standard wrapped belts. The belt runs in the 3VX section with a 112-inch outside length, 3/8-inch top width, and 5/16-inch thickness. It meets ARPM standards and carries heat-resistant and oil-resistant properties, making it suitable for high-cycle drive systems where temperature and contamination are common concerns.
This belt fits equipment using narrow 3VX-section drives, including air handling units, condenser fans, compressors, pumps, and other belt-driven machinery found in commercial and residential mechanical systems. HVAC technicians, millwrights, and mechanical contractors install this belt as a direct replacement in applications requiring a 3VX1120-profile drive. Its cogged construction also improves grip and reduces slippage on variable-speed and high-torque drives.
Designed as a direct replacement for any drive requiring a 3VX1120 narrow cogged V-belt per ARPM section specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or mechanical contractor. De-energize and lock out the equipment before removing the old belt or accessing the drive sheaves. Never pry or force the belt over sheave flanges; always use the adjusting rail to release tension before replacement. After installation, verify belt tension and sheave alignment per the equipment manufacturer's specifications before returning the unit to service.
