Baldwin Filters RS3700 Air Filter Element Heavy-duty Radial

Product Description

The BALDWIN FILTERS RS3700 is a radial air filter element designed to remove airborne dirt and contaminants from intake air in heavy-duty automotive and equipment applications. With an outside diameter of 14.219 inches and an overall length of 18.344 inches, this element is sized for large-displacement engines commonly found in commercial and off-road equipment. Molded urethane end caps create a reliable seal to prevent bypass and protect downstream engine components. Installation and service are straightforward, making this a practical choice for fleet maintenance and field service operations.

This air filter element is suited for heavy-duty equipment operating in dusty or high-particulate environments such as construction sites, agricultural operations, and mining applications. The radial design allows for direct fitment into compatible housings without modification. Cross-reference data confirms compatibility with multiple OEM and aftermarket part numbers, making it a reliable option when sourcing replacements across multiple equipment types in a mixed fleet.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by diesel mechanics or heavy-equipment service technicians. Before servicing the air filter housing, shut down the engine and allow it to cool. Inspect the housing sealing surface for cracks or debris before seating the new element to ensure the urethane end cap seals fully. Reinstall the housing cover and secure all clamps or fasteners before returning the equipment to service.
