The BALAX 11624-010 is a thread forming tap designed for producing internal 8-32 UNC threads in blind holes without generating chips. Built from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, this bottoming chamfer tap allows threading close to the bottom of a hole, making it well suited for tight-tolerance assemblies. The H4 thread limit and 3B class of fit deliver controlled thread form accuracy. With an overall length of 2.125 inches and a tapping depth of 0.75 inches, it fits standard tap holders used in production and maintenance machining environments.
