The AZURE HOME PRODUCTS 10868 is a variable speed ECM direct drive blower motor kit rated from 1/3 to 1/2 HP, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC air handling systems. Operating at 120/240 volts AC single-phase, 50/60 Hz, and 1075 RPM with 5 selectable speed taps, this motor features a built-in Auto Sizing Learn Mode that runs for approximately 2 minutes at startup, measures the external static pressure of the system, and self-programs the correct horsepower and torque values to each speed tap. Class B insulation and ball bearing construction support reliable continuous operation. Licensed HVAC technicians install this unit as a direct replacement or temporary blower motor solution.
The 10868 is suited for direct drive blower applications in forced-air HVAC systems. Its self-programming capability makes it especially useful when servicing variable speed motor-equipped systems, eliminating the need for manual configuration and reducing commissioning time. The reversible rotation and 48 frame sizing allow it to fit a broad range of air handler and furnace blower assemblies. It is appropriate for both residential service calls and light commercial maintenance applications where a programmable, multi-speed ECM motor is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and universal retrofit solution for 48 frame direct drive blower motor applications in residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems requiring a 1/3 to 1/2 HP, 5-speed, 1075 RPM ECM motor with belly band mounting.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Disconnect and lock out all power to the air handling unit before removing the existing motor or making any electrical connections. Verify that the belly band mounting hardware and blower wheel hub are compatible before finalizing installation. After wiring is complete, allow the motor to complete its full Learn Mode cycle of approximately 2 minutes before evaluating system airflow performance.
