Axis Communications 02899-001 Ip Box Camera

Product Description

The AXIS COMMUNICATIONS 02899-001 is an IP box camera designed for professional fixed-mount surveillance installations. As a member of the Axis P1385-B series, this camera delivers network-based video capture in a compact box form factor suited for indoor and outdoor security applications. IP box cameras in this class are typically installed by security integrators, IT professionals, and licensed low-voltage contractors who require reliable, scalable video surveillance infrastructure. The 02899-001 is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for commercial, industrial, and institutional deployments where stable, fixed-angle coverage is needed.

This camera is suited for fixed-position surveillance scenarios where a box form factor allows use of interchangeable lenses to match specific focal length and field-of-view requirements. Typical installation environments include warehouses, retail spaces, schools, transit facilities, and other commercial settings that demand continuous IP-based video monitoring. Security system integrators and low-voltage technicians are the primary installers for this class of equipment.
