Axis Communications 02636-004 6MP Ai Fisheye Ip Dome Camera

Product Description

The AXIS COMMUNICATIONS 02636-004 is an indoor AI-enabled fisheye IP dome camera designed for wide-area surveillance coverage in a single unit. Built around a 6-megapixel sensor, it delivers 180-degree and 360-degree panoramic views, eliminating blind spots that conventional fixed cameras cannot cover. The integrated AI processing enables on-device analytics such as motion detection and object classification without relying solely on server-side computation. Licensed security integrators and low-voltage technicians are the primary installers for this category of device.

This camera is suited for indoor commercial and institutional environments where broad coverage is required from a single mounting point. Typical deployments include retail floors, open-plan offices, lobbies, warehouses, and school common areas. The fisheye optic allows a single camera to cover zones that would otherwise require multiple units, reducing infrastructure costs and cabling runs. It is intended for use with network video recorder systems and video management software platforms that support fisheye dewarping.
