The AVYCON AVC-NSD51M is a 5-megapixel IP indoor dome camera designed for professional surveillance installations in commercial and residential environments. It captures high-resolution video at 5MP and features a 2.7-13.5mm varifocal lens that allows installers to adjust the field of view during setup without swapping optics. The dome form factor keeps the unit low-profile and vandal-resistant for ceiling-mount applications. Security integrators and low-voltage technicians are the typical installers for this class of IP camera.
The AVC-NSD51M is suited for indoor surveillance applications including retail spaces, office corridors, lobbies, and similar interior environments where consistent lighting conditions allow a fixed-mount dome to cover a defined zone. The varifocal lens range gives installers flexibility when covering varying room depths or when mounting height requires focal-length adjustment to achieve the desired coverage area. It is sold individually as a single unit.
Designed as an OEM-style IP dome camera for integration with standard ONVIF-compatible network video recorders and video management software platforms used in professional indoor surveillance systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician in accordance with local codes and NEC Article 725 requirements for Class 2 wiring. Power down or disconnect PoE switch ports before terminating network connections to the camera. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally adequate to support the fixture and that conduit or cabling is routed to avoid pinch points. Do not install this unit in outdoor or high-humidity environments for which it is not rated.
