The AVYCON AVC-NPB81M is an 8-megapixel bullet-style IP security camera equipped with a 2.7-13.5mm varifocal lens, delivering high-resolution video capture across a flexible field of view. Designed for professional surveillance installations, this camera suits licensed security integrators and commercial A/V contractors who require reliable image detail at varying focal distances. The varifocal lens allows technicians to adjust coverage angle during commissioning without swapping optics, making it practical for both wide-area monitoring and targeted zone surveillance. At 8MP resolution, the unit supports detailed image capture well above standard 1080p thresholds, appropriate for environments where identification-level detail is required.
The AVC-NPB81M is suited for outdoor and indoor bullet camera applications in commercial and light industrial settings. Its bullet form factor makes it a common choice for perimeter coverage, parking structures, building entrances, and long-corridor sightlines where a fixed-mount, forward-facing camera is preferred. Installation is typically performed by licensed security or low-voltage contractors as part of an IP-based networked video surveillance system using standard PoE infrastructure.
Designed as an OEM-style network bullet camera for use within IP-based video surveillance systems supporting standard ONVIF-compatible network video recorders and PoE switches.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems contractor in accordance with local codes and NEC Article 725 for low-voltage wiring. Power down or disconnect the PoE switch port before making network and power connections to the camera. Verify mounting surface load capacity before securing the camera bracket, and confirm network switch PoE wattage budget accommodates the camera draw. Do not expose the camera to supply voltages outside the manufacturer-rated input range.
