The AVERY AVE5166 is a file folder label designed for fast, reliable file identification in office and organizational settings. Each label features TrueBlock technology, which completely blocks underlying text, barcodes, or images so folders and containers can be repurposed without any show-through. The permanent adhesive bonds securely to folder tabs without lifting or curling. Labels are acid-free, jam-free, and smudge-free. The pack includes 750 labels in bright orange, sized for 1/3-cut folder tabs. Inkjet and laser printer compatibility makes these suitable for high-volume labeling runs in professional environments.
These labels are well suited for offices, filing rooms, law firms, medical practices, and any setting where color-coded or clearly marked file systems are maintained. The bright orange color aids in quick visual sorting across large filing systems. Labels are printed from standard inkjet or laser printers and sized to align with 1/3-cut tab folders commonly used in lateral and vertical file cabinets. Each sheet holds multiple labels, allowing efficient sheet-fed printing without individual label handling.
Designed for use with standard 1/3-cut file folder tabs. Compatible with inkjet and laser printers. Avery offers compatible templates for popular software applications.
Print labels using a standard inkjet or laser printer with the sheet loaded according to printer manufacturer orientation guidelines. Peel each label from the sheet and apply firmly to a clean, dry folder tab surface. Avoid applying labels over heavily textured or contaminated surfaces, as adhesion may be reduced. No special tools are required for application.
