The AU-VE-CO PRODUCTS 18952 is a crimp-style wire disconnect terminal designed for quick, reliable electrical connections in trade service work. Rated for 16-14 AWG wire, this disconnect accepts standard crimping tools and delivers a secure mechanical and electrical bond without soldering. It is suited for low-voltage control wiring, motor lead terminations, and general equipment wiring tasks encountered in HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical service applications. Electricians and HVAC technicians install this terminal wherever a removable or serviceable wire connection is required on control circuits or component leads.
This disconnect is a standard single-unit crimp terminal sold individually. It is appropriate for residential and light commercial equipment wiring, including control board harnesses, blower motor leads, thermostat wiring terminations, and similar field-wiring points. Its 16-14 AWG wire range covers the most common control and power-circuit wire gauges found in HVAC and electrical panel work.
Designed as an OEM-style crimp disconnect terminal for use in residential and light commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical wiring applications requiring 16-14 AWG wire terminations.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician. Always de-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage with a meter before terminating or removing any wiring. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimping tool sized for the terminal and wire gauge to ensure a proper mechanical crimp. Follow applicable NEC requirements for wire termination methods and circuit protection in the equipment being serviced.
