The AU-VE-CO PRODUCTS 13753 is a flat head blind rivet with a full nylon body and nylon mandrel, designed for fastening applications where metal contact must be avoided or where corrosion resistance is a priority. The rivet features an 11/16-inch head diameter and accepts a grip range of 3/32 to 3/16 inches, making it suitable for thin-panel assemblies. The body length under head measures 1-7/8 inches and requires a 17/64-inch hole diameter for installation. The black nylon construction makes this rivet appropriate for electrical enclosures, HVAC sheet-metal trim panels, ductwork accessories, and similar light-duty fastening tasks performed by HVAC technicians, electricians, and general tradespeople.
This blind rivet is used in applications where a non-metallic fastener is needed to prevent galvanic corrosion, electrical conductivity, or surface marring. Common install scenarios include securing plastic or fiberglass panels, attaching wire management clips, and fastening lightweight trim components in residential and light commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. The flat head profile sits flush or near-flush against the work surface, reducing protrusion in finished assemblies. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 25 units.
Designed as an OEM-style blind rivet for light-duty panel fastening in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing applications requiring a non-metallic fastener with a flat head profile and 17/64-inch hole size.
Install using a standard hand or pneumatic rivet tool sized for the 17/64-inch shank. Ensure the mating hole is clean and properly sized before insertion to avoid cracking the nylon body. Power down or de-energize any nearby electrical components before fastening in live panel areas. Nylon rivets have lower shear and tensile strength than aluminum or steel equivalents - do not use in structural load-bearing joints.
