The AU-VE-CO PRODUCTS 12123 is a zinc-plated spring steel push nut designed for use with M6x1.00 threaded fasteners. Push nuts of this type function as one-way retention devices, securing components onto threaded screws or studs without requiring tools for installation. The spring steel construction provides consistent radial tension, locking the nut in place under vibration and load. With a 13mm outside diameter, the 12123 is a compact, lightweight fastener solution used across HVAC equipment assemblies, panel fabrication, and mechanical sub-assemblies where permanent or semi-permanent retention is needed.
This push nut is suited for light-duty mechanical assemblies in residential and commercial HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, and general sheet metal fabrication. It is typically installed by HVAC technicians, electricians, or mechanical assemblers during equipment build-up or field repair. The zinc plating provides basic corrosion resistance appropriate for indoor and sheltered applications. This part is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 100 units, making it appropriate for shop stock, service fleet replenishment, or production line use.
Designed for use with M6x1.00 threaded fasteners in HVAC equipment assemblies, electrical enclosures, and general mechanical fabrication applications requiring push-on retention hardware.
Push nuts are installed by pressing the nut squarely onto the threaded fastener by hand or with a flat-faced pressing tool until fully seated. Power down or de-energize any equipment before servicing fastener hardware on live assemblies. Push nuts are generally considered non-reusable once removed, as the spring tension may be compromised upon extraction. Follow applicable assembly or equipment service documentation for torque and fastener specifications.
