The ASSOCIATED SPRING RAYMOND 206-606 is a yellow-coded extra strong die spring designed for use in stamping dies, molds, and press tooling applications. Built from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire cross-section, it delivers a maximum deflection load of 5017.90 N at a maximum deflection of 9.50 mm. The free length is 38.00 mm (1-1/2 inches), the hole diameter is 32.00 mm, and the rod diameter is 16.00 mm. This spring is manufactured to ISO 10243 standards and is suited for high-cycle industrial tooling environments where consistent force and fatigue resistance are required.
This die spring is used in metal stamping, injection molding, and punch press die sets where controlled compression force is needed over repeated cycles. The extra strong duty rating and yellow color coding make it straightforward to identify and replace within multi-spring die assemblies. It is installed by tool and die makers, mold builders, and press maintenance technicians in both production and job shop settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement die spring for standard ISO 10243 extra strong (yellow) die spring applications with a 32.00 mm hole diameter and 16.00 mm rod diameter.
Die springs should be installed by qualified tool and die makers or press maintenance personnel. Always de-energize and lockout the press before servicing die components. Ensure the spring pocket depth and rod clearance match the specified hole and rod diameters before installation. Do not exceed the rated maximum deflection of 9.50 mm, as operating a die spring beyond its travel-to-solid limit will accelerate fatigue and reduce service life.
