The ASSOCIATED SPRING RAYMOND 206-207 is an extra-strong die spring engineered for high-load tooling and stamping applications. Built from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire cross-section, it delivers a maximum deflection load of 333.30 N across 11.00 mm of travel. The 12.50 mm hole diameter accommodates standard guide pins, and the 6.30 mm rod diameter fits common die set rod configurations. Free length measures 44.00 mm (1-3/4 inches). The yellow color coding follows ISO 10243 duty-rating conventions, making it easy to identify the correct spring rate on the shop floor. This part is sold individually.
Designed for use in metal stamping dies, punch press tooling, and progressive die assemblies, the 206-207 fits into applications where consistent return force and precise deflection control are required. Extra-strong duty rating makes it appropriate for heavy-cycle production tooling where standard or light-duty springs would fatigue prematurely. Tool and die makers and machine maintenance technicians are the primary installers in both job shop and production environments.
Designed as an ISO 10243-compliant extra-strong die spring for use in standard die sets requiring a 12.50 mm hole diameter and 6.30 mm rod diameter with a 44.00 mm free length.
Installation is performed by tool and die makers or machine maintenance technicians. Always de-energize and lock out the press before servicing die components. Ensure the guide pin and rod dimensions match the spring bore and rod diameter to prevent lateral loading that accelerates fatigue. Do not compress the spring beyond its rated maximum deflection of 11.00 mm to avoid permanent set or premature failure.
