The ASSOCIATED SPRING RAYMOND 203-924 is a light-duty die spring engineered for use in stamping dies, press tooling, and similar industrial applications. It features a trapezoidal wire shape for improved load distribution and a green color designation indicating its light-duty rating. The spring has a 63 mm (2.48 inches) hole diameter, a 38 mm (1.50 inches) rod diameter, and a free length of 152 mm (5.98 inches). Manufactured from chromium alloy steel, it delivers consistent performance across repeated compression cycles. This part meets ISO 10243 standards, making it suitable for global tooling and die applications.
This die spring is used in punch-and-die tooling, injection mold stripping, and mechanical press applications where controlled return force is required. The light-duty green rating makes it appropriate for applications where lower load forces are needed and deflection control is a priority. It is installed and serviced by tool-and-die makers, press technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals. The spring accommodates a maximum deflection of 61 mm (2.40 inches) and delivers a maximum deflection load of 1,155.97 pounds (5,142 N).
Designed as an ISO 10243 standard die spring suitable for punch-and-die tooling, mold stripping assemblies, and mechanical press applications requiring a 63 mm hole diameter and 38 mm rod diameter with a 152 mm free length.
Die springs should be installed by qualified tool-and-die technicians or industrial maintenance personnel. Always de-energize and lock out the press or machine before removing or installing die springs. Ensure the rod and hole diameters of the housing match the spring specifications before installation. Do not exceed the rated maximum deflection of 61 mm (2.40 inches) during operation, as over-compression will reduce spring life and may cause failure.
