The ASSOCIATED SPRING RAYMOND 203-516 is a heavy-duty die spring engineered for use in stamping dies, press tooling, and industrial mold assemblies. Built from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire cross-section, it delivers a spring rate of 120.48 N/mm and a maximum deflection load of 865.10 N over a maximum deflection of 41.00 mm. The green color coding identifies its load class for fast identification in production and maintenance environments. With a free length of 4 inches (102.00 mm), this spring is a standard-format component installed by tool-and-die technicians, press maintenance crews, and industrial maintenance professionals.
This die spring is suited for use in progressive dies, compound dies, and injection mold assemblies operating in light to medium load applications. The green load class is commonly used where controlled return force and consistent stroke repeatability are required. It fits a 25.00 mm hole diameter and accepts a 12.50 mm rod diameter, making it compatible with standard ISO 10243 die spring tooling configurations.
Dimensioned to ISO 10243 standards with a 25.00 mm hole diameter and 12.50 mm rod diameter, making it a direct-fit replacement in any tooling assembly designed to that standard.
Die springs are installed by qualified tool-and-die technicians and press maintenance personnel. Always de-energize and lock out the press before removing or replacing die springs. Inspect the spring pocket and guide rod for wear or damage before installing a new spring. Do not compress the spring beyond its stated maximum deflection to avoid premature failure.
