The ASSOCIATED SPRING RAYMOND 105-810 is a heavy-duty die spring designed for use in stamping dies, presses, and tooling fixtures where consistent, high-load compression performance is required. Built from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire cross-section, this spring delivers a maximum deflection load of 1,950 pounds and a spring rate of 2,512 pounds per inch. The gold color coding identifies this as a heavy-duty unit within the industry-standard color classification system. It is installed and serviced by tooling engineers, die setters, and maintenance technicians working in metal fabrication and manufacturing environments.
This die spring is suited for industrial press tooling, injection mold assemblies, and mechanical stamping applications where heavy-duty load capacity is needed in a compact form factor. With a 2-inch hole diameter, 1-inch rod diameter, and 2.5-inch free length, it fits standard die sets requiring a heavy-duty spring in that bore and rod size range. The 0.75-inch maximum deflection makes it appropriate for applications with controlled stroke lengths within that travel limit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit die spring for standard tooling fixtures and stamping die assemblies requiring a 2-inch hole diameter, 1-inch rod diameter, heavy-duty rated compression spring with a 2.5-inch free length.
Die springs are installed and replaced by qualified tooling technicians and die setters. Always de-energize and lock out the press before removing or installing springs. Verify that hole and rod clearances match the spring dimensions and that the installation depth does not exceed the rated maximum deflection of 0.75 inches. Do not exceed the maximum deflection load rating, as over-compression will shorten spring service life and may create a safety hazard.
