The ASSOCIATED SPRING RAYMOND R19-015 RE is a nitrogen gas spring designed for use in tooling, stamping dies, and press applications where controlled, consistent return force is required. This spring measures 0.748 inches in diameter and 2.83 inches in overall length, with a body length of 2.17 inches. It delivers an initial stroke force of 157 lbf and a full stroke force of 225 lbf, charged to an initial pressure of 2,030 psi. The red color coding provides quick visual identification of the force class. It is installed by toolmakers, die setters, and mechanical technicians working in metal forming and fabrication environments.
This nitrogen gas spring is suited for compact die and tooling assemblies where a short stroke and high force output are needed in a small footprint. With a maximum stroke of 0.59 inches and a body length of 55 millimeters, it fits into tight cavity and die plate configurations common in progressive and blanking die applications. Its nitrogen charge provides consistent force output across the stroke cycle compared to conventional coil springs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit nitrogen gas spring for tooling and die assemblies requiring a 19 mm diameter, 72 mm overall length gas spring with a 15 mm maximum stroke.
Nitrogen gas springs are installed and serviced by qualified toolmakers or die maintenance technicians. Depressurize and fully discharge the spring before disassembly or removal from the die set. Do not drill, weld, or machine the spring body. Follow the press and tooling OEM guidelines for mounting bore tolerances and surface finish when seating the spring in a die plate cavity.
