The ASPEN CM36A3G-177L-006 is an uncased downflow evaporator coil rated at 36,000 BTU/h (3 tons) for use in manufactured and mobile home HVAC applications. It features rifled copper tubing and enhanced aluminum fins for efficient heat transfer, and is designed for R-410A refrigerant systems. The coil is immersion-tested at 500 psi, then nitrogen-pressurized and sealed before shipment, ensuring leak-free performance out of the box. Licensed HVAC technicians install this coil as the indoor heat-exchange component in split-system air conditioners and heat pumps paired with manufactured home furnaces.
This coil is engineered specifically for downflow configurations common in manufactured and mobile home furnace installations. Left-hand refrigerant and plumbing connections make it compatible with left-hand-access equipment layouts. The liquid line connection is 3/8 inch ODS and the suction line is 3/4 inch ODS, suitable for 1.5-ton through 3-ton system pairings. A liquid line Schrader valve is included for hiss-testing during installation. The single left-hand 3/4 inch FPT condensate drain connection on the 177L pan, combined with the included condensate drain elbow and flexible drain tubing, simplifies rough-in for tight mobile home utility spaces.
AHRI certifiable with all brands of air conditioner and heat pump systems. ETL listed for use with both R-22 and R-410A refrigerants when the proper metering device is used. Designed for downflow installations in manufactured and mobile home furnace applications.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Shut down all electrical power and isolate the refrigerant circuit before beginning coil replacement or installation. A flow restrictor (piston-style metering device) is included; verify the correct metering device rating for the matched outdoor unit before brazing connections. Always pressure-test and evacuate the refrigerant circuit to the required micron level before introducing refrigerant.
