The ASHCROFT 94484 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. It features a 3-1/2 inch analog dial with a 0 to 30 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy. The stainless steel case and 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube provide corrosion resistance suitable for harsh fluid and gas systems. The glycerin or liquid fill dampens needle fluctuation caused by vibration or pulsation, extending service life and improving readability. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial service professionals install this gauge on systems where a stable, precise pressure reading is critical.
This gauge is well suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant and hydronic systems, compressed air lines, and general industrial piping. The 1/4 inch NPT lower mount connection allows direct inline or manifold installation. The polycarbonate lens resists impact and chemical exposure. It is rated to IP54 and IP65/NEMA 4, making it appropriate for wet or wash-down locations. Series 1009 gauges are commonly specified where certification to CRN, PED, or RoHS standards is required by local code or project specification.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified industrial mechanic. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before installing or removing the gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the 1/4 inch NPT male threads per applicable plumbing or mechanical code. Do not use pipe wrenches directly on the gauge case; wrench flats on the gauge stem should be used to avoid case distortion.
