The ASHCROFT 94331 is an industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 300 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy. The lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection makes it straightforward to install on pressure taps, manifolds, and service ports. The stainless steel case and 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube provide corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. This gauge is not liquid-filled, making it suited for dry-service applications where vibration dampening fluid is not required.
The ASHCROFT 94331 is used in residential and commercial HVAC systems, plumbing and hydronic heating installations, compressed air lines, and light industrial process piping. The lower-mount configuration positions the connection at the six-o-clock position of the case, which is common for panel-mount or pipe-tap installations where the gauge face must be viewed straight-on. It is installed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters as a system monitoring instrument or replacement gauge on existing pressure taps.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems with standard 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount pressure ports across HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and light industrial process piping applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing any existing gauge or fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads and tighten to hand-tight plus the installer's standard wrench turns per applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines. Do not over-torque the gauge body, as stainless steel fittings can gall when over-tightened.
