The ASHCROFT 94327 is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy. The dry (non-liquid-filled) Bourdon tube design uses 316 stainless steel for the sensing element and a 304/316 stainless steel case, making it suitable for demanding service environments where corrosion resistance matters. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters install this gauge as a permanent system monitor or as part of test and balance work.

The 94327 is suited for residential and light commercial applications including hydronic heating systems, compressed air lines, water supply lines, and general fluid process monitoring. The lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection allows direct installation into a tee, manifold, or gauge port without additional fittings in most standard configurations. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for mildly corrosive media as well as standard water and air service.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC technicians following applicable IPC and IFGC requirements for the system being serviced. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing an existing gauge or installing a new one. Apply thread sealant tape or compound rated for the media and pressure range to the NPT threads before hand-tightening, then snug with a wrench — do not overtighten the stainless steel case. Verify zero reading before returning the system to service.
