The ASHCROFT 94166XLL is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service applications. Featuring a 4.5-inch dial and a rear flange mount configuration, this gauge reads from 0 to 30 psi with an accuracy of 0.5 percent of full scale. The thermoplastic case keeps the unit lightweight while providing adequate protection in typical service environments. No liquid fill is used, making it well suited for applications where ambient vibration is minimal and a clean, dry gauge is preferred. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers commonly specify this style of gauge for panel-mount and manifold installations.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications where a large, easy-to-read 4.5-inch dial is needed at a fixed rear flange mount point. The 0 to 30 psi range makes it suitable for low-pressure monitoring tasks such as water supply lines, gas pressure verification, compressed air systems operating at low pressure, and similar service scenarios. The rear flange mount allows the gauge to be flush-mounted to a panel or enclosure, keeping the face visible while the body sits recessed behind the mounting surface.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install pressure gauge for low-pressure monitoring points in residential and light commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems requiring a rear flange mount configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing an existing gauge or making any connections. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service medium to the 0.5-inch connection threads and tighten to the fitting manufacturer specification using a wrench on the gauge hex, not the case. Do not over-torque the thermoplastic case, as it is not rated for use as a torquing surface.
