The ASHCROFT 93262 is a watertight single setpoint pressure switch designed for industrial and commercial control applications where reliable pressure-actuated switching is required. The switch features a 316 stainless steel wetted element and an aluminum housing, making it suitable for use with air, food-grade fluids, oil, and water. It operates across a wide voltage range including 125, 250, and 480 volts AC as well as 30, 125, and 250 volts DC, with amperage ratings of 0.5, 6, and 15 amps depending on circuit configuration. The SPDT contact form supports both normally open and normally closed wiring. The setpoint is field-adjustable up to 500 psi, giving technicians flexibility during commissioning.
The 93262 is suited for process control, HVAC, compressed air systems, hydraulic equipment, and fluid handling systems in both light commercial and industrial environments. The 1/4 inch NPTF male thread connection is a standard fitting found across pneumatic and hydraulic lines. The watertight enclosure and broad certification portfolio make this switch a practical choice for installations in wet, dusty, or classified hazardous locations. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial mechanics, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this type of device.
Rated for use with air, food-grade fluids, oil, and water systems. Compatible with CLASS I DIV 1 GROUPS B, C, and D and CLASS II DIV 1 GROUPS E, F, and G hazardous location classifications per FM and UL standards. Suitable for any system using a standard 1/4 inch NPTF male port connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the applicable system type and local codes. De-energize and depressurize the system fully before installing or removing the switch. Use a calibrated torque wrench and appropriate thread sealant rated for the process media on the NPTF connection. For hazardous location installations, verify enclosure sealing and conduit fitting requirements per NEC Article 500 before energizing.
