The ASHCROFT 83194 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. It features a 3-1/2 inch analog dial with a 0 to 15 psi range and 1% of scale accuracy. The center back mount configuration accepts a 1/4 inch NPT connection. The stainless steel case and 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube provide corrosion resistance suited to wet, chemical, or outdoor installations. Liquid fill dampens needle vibration and reduces wear on internal components during pulsating or fluctuating pressure conditions. This gauge is well suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compact, readable pressure display is needed at a panel, manifold, or pipe connection. Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial service technician. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing this unit. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT threads per IPC and IFGC guidelines, taking care not to allow sealant into the pressure port. Do not overtighten the connection; use a wrench on the hex fitting only and avoid torquing against the case body.
