The ASHCROFT 251009S02LLL15K is an industrial analog pressure gauge designed to measure pressures from 0 to 15,000 psi. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 304/316 stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts, making it well-suited for demanding fluid and gas service environments. The gauge uses a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube as its sensing element and carries a 1% of scale accuracy rating. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. This gauge is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians in high-pressure process, hydraulic, and fluid-handling systems.
This gauge is configured for lower mount installation with a 1/4-inch MNPT connection, which is a standard thread type common across industrial piping, hydraulic manifolds, and process equipment. It is a dry (non-liquid-filled) gauge, appropriate for applications where vibration is not a primary concern. Typical installation scenarios include high-pressure fluid lines, test benches, hydraulic circuits, and compressed gas systems requiring accurate pressure monitoring up to 15,000 psi.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install industrial pressure gauge for high-pressure piping systems using a standard 1/4-inch MNPT lower-mount port connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or industrial maintenance technician familiar with high-pressure system safety practices. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT connection per the system fluid compatibility requirements, and do not overtighten, as this can damage the gauge socket or process fitting. Verify that the gauge pressure range is appropriate for the system operating pressure before placing into service.
