This fitting transitions from a 1-1/2 inch FPT inlet to a 1-1/4 inch FPT outlet and weighs approximately 1.006 pounds. Apply an approved pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly and tighten to hand-tight plus the appropriate number of turns using a pipe wrench. Do not over-torque malleable iron fittings, as excessive force can crack the fitting body.
