The ASC ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS 2DX2.BML is a reducing 90-degree pipe elbow designed for threaded piping systems in commercial and industrial plumbing, gas distribution, and mechanical installations. The fitting transitions from a 2.5-inch female NPT inlet to a 2-inch female NPT outlet, allowing a direction change and size reduction in a single fitting. Constructed from malleable iron with a black finish, it is rated for 150 lb service pressure. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting where a 90-degree directional change and a pipe size reduction are needed at the same point in the system.
