The ASC Engineered Solutions 1D.NP is a cored regular square head plug rated for 125 lb service, designed to close off threaded pipe openings in low-pressure piping systems. Constructed from cast iron with a galvanized finish, it features a 1-1/2 inch nominal male NPT (MNPT) end style for direct thread engagement. The cored design reduces material weight while maintaining the structural integrity needed for standard-duty plumbing and mechanical applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during system assembly, maintenance shutdowns, or pressure testing procedures.

Installation Notes
