The ARO/INGERSOLL-RAND P39124-600 is a miniature FRL (filter/regulator) combination unit designed for compressed air systems requiring inline filtration and pressure regulation in a single, compact body. It flows up to 47 SCFM and handles a maximum supply pressure of 150 psi, making it well suited for small pneumatic circuits where space and weight are priorities. The unit ships with a pressure gauge included and features a polycarbonate bowl with bowl guard. A 5-micron filter element captures particulate before air reaches downstream tooling or instrumentation. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance mechanics, and pneumatic system installers are the typical trades working with this component.
This filter/regulator is used in light-duty to medium-duty pneumatic applications including plant air distribution panels, control cabinets, and point-of-use installations at actuators, cylinders, and air-powered tools. Its miniature body profile makes it a practical choice in tight panel layouts or wherever a full-size FRL would not fit. The 1/4 NPT port size matches the most common small-bore pneumatic tubing and piping found in residential automation panels and light commercial process lines. Operating temperature range is 23 degrees F to 125 degrees F, covering most indoor and enclosed-space installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter/regulator for compressed air systems using 1/4 NPT porting in the ARO 1000 Series modular FRL product family.
Installation is typically performed by a pneumatic systems technician or industrial maintenance mechanic. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this unit. Ensure NPT threads are sealed with appropriate thread sealant tape rated for compressed air service; do not overtighten the polycarbonate bowl. Orient the unit so the bowl faces downward to allow proper condensate collection and manual drain access.
