The ARO/INGERSOLL-RAND 66605J-344 is a non-metallic air operated diaphragm pump built for fluid transfer in chemical, industrial, and process applications. The pump body and housing are constructed from polypropylene, and the diaphragm and ball components are polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), making the assembly resistant to a wide range of corrosive fluids. It delivers a maximum flow rate of 13.0 GPM at a maximum working pressure of 100 psi. The 1/2 inch NPT inlet and outlet ports and a 1/4 inch air inlet make integration into existing piping systems straightforward. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this pump type.
This pump is suited for low-to-medium volume fluid transfer in applications where metal wetted parts would corrode or contaminate the process fluid. Typical installation scenarios include chemical dosing systems, wastewater handling, solvent transfer, and light slurry service where solid particle sizes do not exceed 3/32 inch. The single port configuration and compact non-metallic construction make it a practical choice for residential chemical feed systems, light commercial plumbing, and industrial process lines handling aggressive media.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or drop-in diaphragm pump for systems requiring a 1/2 inch NPT non-metallic air operated pump with PTFE wetted diaphragm and ball components.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber or pipefitter familiar with air operated diaphragm pump systems. Isolate and depressurize both the air supply and the fluid process line before connecting or servicing the pump. Verify that the air supply pressure does not exceed the pump maximum working pressure rating of 100 psi. Ensure all NPT threaded connections are properly sealed with compatible thread sealant appropriate for the process fluid being handled.
