This assembly allows for efficient condensate drainage from the steam trap through a simple lever and seat operation. The mechanism is secured by screwing the seat into the trap's outlet port. Attached to the float, the weight ensures the lever remains down, keeping the seat closed during steam presence. As steam cools and condenses, the accumulated condensate raises the float, opening the seat for drainage.
