The Armacell ARMA-APT05812 is a closed-cell, flexible elastomeric pipe insulation tube designed to control condensation, resist mold growth, and reduce energy loss on refrigerant and chilled-water piping. The tube measures 0.625 inches wall thickness by 0.5 inches inner diameter and comes in a 72-inch length. Its fiber-free, formaldehyde-free, low-VOC formulation protects indoor air quality, making it well suited for occupied buildings and sensitive environments. A built-in vapor retardant barrier is integrated into the closed-cell Nitrile/PVC structure, eliminating the need for a separate vapor retarder wrap. The product carries a 25/50 flame and smoke rating and is approved for use in air plenums with wall thickness up to 2 inches.
