The Armacell AAD520005 is a 1 quart Armaflex 520 pipe adhesive supplied in a brush-in-cap bottle for bonding Armaflex insulation and similar materials. It is a synthetic rubber/resin liquid with hydrocarbon and ketone-type solvents, offering approximately 200 sq ft coverage per quart, 2–5 minute drying time and about 36 hours curing time. Dried film meets MIL-A-24179A Type II and ASTM E84 25/50. Specific gravity 0.82, VOC 596 g/L, flash point -4°F; service temperature to 250°F.
