The ARLINGTON INDUSTRIES 8675SG is a 3/4 inch EMT-to-duplex saddle connector designed to secure and transition electrical metallic tubing to duplex outlet boxes. This hardware accessory provides a reliable mechanical connection between EMT conduit and duplex device boxes, maintaining raceway integrity in residential and light commercial wiring installations. Electricians use this fitting to anchor conduit runs at outlet locations without the need for additional straps or standoffs. It is sold individually as a single unit.
The 8675SG is suited for use in branch-circuit wiring applications where 3/4 inch EMT terminates at a duplex receptacle box. Typical install scenarios include exposed conduit runs in garages, utility rooms, basements, and light commercial spaces where surface-mounted wiring is required. The saddle design keeps the conduit flush and mechanically secured at the box entry point.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with standard 3/4 inch EMT conduit and duplex device boxes in residential and light commercial electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify the absence of voltage before working at any device box. Ensure the EMT conduit is cut cleanly and deburred before seating it in the saddle connector to prevent insulation damage on conductors. Tighten all fasteners to the fitting manufacturer guidelines using appropriate hand tools.
