The AQUALINE PRV3-075-LF is a 3/4-inch brass pressure regulating valve designed to reduce and stabilize incoming water pressure within residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Pressure regulators protect downstream fixtures, water heaters, and appliances from excessive line pressure that can cause premature wear, leaks, or code violations. The lead-free brass construction meets current drinking water compliance standards, making it suitable for potable water installations. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors install this type of regulator at the service entry point or at branch lines requiring localized pressure control.
This pressure regulator is suited for residential water service entries, apartment buildings, and light commercial plumbing applications where incoming municipal pressure must be reduced to a safe working range. It is appropriate for use in new construction as well as retrofit installations where an aging or failed regulator requires replacement. The 3/4-inch connection size fits standard residential main line configurations commonly found in single-family and multi-family buildings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install pressure regulating valve for 3/4-inch residential and light commercial potable water plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off the main water supply and depressurize the line before removing any existing regulator or making new connections. Install the regulator with the flow arrow oriented in the correct direction of water flow, and allow adequate clearance for future adjustment or service. Verify the outlet pressure setting with a gauge after installation and confirm it falls within the acceptable range for the building's fixtures and appliances.
