The AQUALINE GPN-125-24 is a Schedule 40 galvanized steel pipe nipple sized at 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 24 inches in length. It is threaded on both ends for standard NPT connections and serves as a rigid, corrosion-resistant fitting used to extend or connect sections of piping in plumbing, gas distribution, and mechanical systems. The hot-dip galvanized coating provides zinc-based protection against rust in exposed or high-moisture environments. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of nipple in both new construction and retrofit applications.
This nipple is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, natural gas and propane supply lines, fire suppression risers, and general mechanical piping where a 1-1/4-inch threaded steel fitting is required. Its 24-inch length makes it a common choice for longer span connections between fittings, valves, or equipment without the need for a coupling. It is typically used in conjunction with standard NPT malleable iron or steel fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-service pipe nipple compatible with 1-1/4-inch NPT threaded fittings, valves, and couplings used in Schedule 40 steel piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC requirements when used in gas service. Shut off the water or gas supply and depressurize the line before beginning work. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape rated for the service medium to all NPT threads before assembly. Do not over-tighten threaded connections, as this can crack fittings or damage threads.
