The AQUABOND x33 is a two-part hybrid epoxy adhesive formulated for wet and dry pool and spa repair applications. It bonds to submerged surfaces without draining the pool, making it a practical choice for active leak sealing, tile reattachment, and crack repair in plaster, skimmers, spa shells, and spa jets. The kit includes a 25ml resealable syringe of adhesive, an Easy Application Film, a mixing stick, and printed instructions. Working time is 10 to 20 minutes, with handling strength reached in 2 to 4 hours and full cure in 12 to 24 hours depending on water and ambient temperature. Pool service technicians and knowledgeable DIYers install this product without specialized tools.
The x33 is suited for residential and light commercial pool and spa environments, including saltwater systems. Common applications include sealing plumbing leaks, patching cracks in concrete and plaster surfaces, repairing filter tanks and fountain basins, anchoring rails and covers, and restoring loose or broken tiles. The cured epoxy is paintable and sandable, allowing technicians to blend repairs into existing pool finishes. It also resists shrinkage, vibration, and impact over the service life of the repair.
Designed for use on pool and spa surfaces including plaster, concrete, tile, skimmers, spa jets, spa shells, filter tanks, and fountain basins in both freshwater and saltwater pool systems.
Pool service technicians and qualified DIYers apply this product following the included printed instructions. Shut off circulation pumps and relevant water features before applying to active plumbing leak points where flow control is needed. Mix adhesive thoroughly using the included mixing stick and apply using the Easy Application Film to minimize contamination of the bond surface. Full cure strength requires the complete 12 to 24 hour cure window before returning the repair area to full service load or water pressure.
