The APPLETON obv1 is a cast outlet box mounting hood designed for ceiling installation on hazardous location lighting fixtures. Constructed from ASTM A47-77 32510 malleable iron with a zinc electroplated dichromate epoxy powder coat finish, this mounting hood provides a durable, corrosion-resistant connection point between the outlet box and the luminaire. It ships complete with a connection block, mounting plate, and gasket. Listed under UL 844, UL 1598, and UL 1598A, the obv1 meets the classification requirements for Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E, F, and G; and Class III enclosures.
